Week 8 - My Trip to NC

Spring has sprung in North Carolina. I took advantage of that fact and started snapping away at all the color I could find.

Week 7 - Photoshop Picture

Our assignment this week was to take one of the photos I manipulated in Photoshop and post it to my blog. This is two pictures. The background was a picture of a beautiful frost pattern I found one morning and the other picture of my daughter and granddaughter was cut and pasted on top of it. This project was a lot of fun.

Week 6 For Fun

I took this picture this afternoon, it is a reflection in a puddle of water and snow. I thought it was really interesting.

Week 6 - For Fun

This is a picture of the same tree I used in the lighting assignment, only close up. It looks life spring is finally coming. The snow is melting and refreezing and the ice/water created an interesting icicle pattern.

Week 6 - Light

Not the most attractive photos I've taken. The assignment was find one object and take a picture of it a different times of the day. I chose morning, afternoon, and evening. I definately can see how lighting affects the subject. Depending on the time of day and the light available, objects appear lighter or darker, and coloring is different.

Week 6 - Just for Fun

This photo is just for fun. I was outside taking pictures of one object at different times of the day to see what the light does to the object (posting later). I just thought I would try and capture the water as it came off my roof. I was impressed, this is my first attempt at capturing movement.
